# What can I do in the InstantDM phone app? Other guides: https://instantdm.com/how-to/llms.txt_ **Short answer:** The InstantDM app for iPhone and Android can set up comment-to-DM on posts and Reels, story replies, all-posts automations, Instagram DM keyword replies, scheduling and resending missed DMs. It can't build flows, connect a Facebook Page, export contacts or manage your team. Search "InstantDM" on the App Store or Google Play. ## Before you start - Install **InstantDM** from the **App Store** (iPhone and iPad) or **Google Play** (Android). Search "InstantDM". - You need a **Creator** or **Business** Instagram account to connect. See [how to switch](https://instantdm.com/how-to/switch-to-professional-account.md). - The app and the web app use the same InstantDM account. Anything you set up in one shows in the other. ## Steps 1. Open the app and choose your language, or close the picker to use English. 2. Sign in with **Continue with Google**, **Continue with Apple** (iPhone and iPad) or **Login with Email** (**OTP Login** or **Password**). 3. If you see "Instagram Account Required", tap **Connect** and log in to Instagram in the secure window. 4. On the plans screen, **Starter** = Legend Pro and **Brand** = Trendsetter. Always check the price in the App Store or Google Play sheet before you confirm. - A subscription bought in the app is managed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in the store. Deleting the app does not cancel it. See [I subscribed in the iPhone or Android app](https://instantdm.com/how-to/subscription-from-app-store.md). - To switch between accounts, tap your profile photo → **Switch Account**. - For help, tap your profile photo → **Chat Support**. ## What you can't do - Connect a Facebook Page inside the app. - Build flows or set caption codes for Next post. - Export contacts or download invoices. - Invite team members. ## If it doesn't work - **"Connection Expired"**: tap the banner, or go to **Settings** → **Safety & Limits** → **Instagram Account** → **Re-Connect**. - **A post shows "Flow Editor" and won't open**: it's run by a flow. The app says "Flow editor is available only on desktop/laptop." Edit it on a computer. - **No OTP email**: check your spam folder. You can resend the code after 60 seconds. - **Plan not updated after buying**: pull down on Home to refresh. On a new phone, use **Restore Purchases** on the plans screen. ## Questions people also ask **Where do I download the app?** Search "InstantDM" on the App Store (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play (Android) and install it. **Why are the plans called Starter and Brand in the app?** They are the same plans with different names. Starter is Legend Pro and Brand is Trendsetter. The app only sells these two. **Can I build flows on my phone?** No. In the app you can see your flows, who went through them and what they answered. To build or edit a flow, use a computer at app.instantdm.com. **Can I use the app in Hindi or Spanish?** Yes. The app has 16 interface languages. The choice is saved on that phone only.
