# What InstantDM plan should I choose?

**Short answer:** Most creators and shops need Legend Pro ($12 or ₹999 a month): unlimited DMs up to 800 per hour, story and DM keyword replies, follow gate and lead capture. Choose Trendsetter ($29.99 or ₹1,999) for Flow Automation, AI replies, ad comments and the API. Trendsetter Pro removes the hourly limit. Several accounts need a Multi plan.

## Steps

Go down this list and stop at the first line that fits you.

1. Choose **Multi Starter** (3 accounts) or **Multi Pro** (10) if you run more than one Instagram account. See [Which plan do I need for several accounts?](https://instantdm.com/how-to/plans-for-agencies.md)
2. Choose **Trendsetter Pro** if your posts often get more than 2,000 comments an hour. It has no hourly limit.
3. Choose **Trendsetter** if you need multi-step flows, AI replies, ad comments, Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo or the API.
4. Choose **Legend Pro** if you need story replies, DM keywords, the follow gate, buttons, lead capture or post scheduling.
5. Start on **Free** if you only want to test comment-to-DM.

The app sells two plans: **Starter** (Legend Pro) and **Brand** (Trendsetter), monthly or yearly. Prices come from the App Store or Google Play in your currency. ## Good to know

- "Unlimited" means no monthly DM limit. Each plan still has an hourly pace, and Instagram's own rules apply to every plan.
- New accounts get a first-week trial: paid features are unlocked in the web app for about a week, no card needed. After that the account stays on Free.

## Questions people also ask

**Is yearly cheaper than monthly?**

Yes. Yearly costs less per month on every paid plan, for example Legend Pro is $9.99 a month billed yearly instead of $12 a month. You pay for the whole year at once.

**Is there a free trial of the paid plans?**

Checkout charges you right away. New accounts get a first-week trial instead: paid features are unlocked in the web app for about a week, no card needed.

**What are Starter and Brand in the phone app?**

They are the app's names for the same plans: Starter is Legend Pro and Brand is Trendsetter. App prices come from the App Store or Google Play and can differ from the web.

**Do I pay per contact?**

No. There are no per-contact fees on any plan.
