Short answer

Multi Starter covers 3 accounts for $15 a month (₹1,299) and Multi Pro covers 10 accounts for $99 a month (₹7,999), on one bill. Buy it from My Plan, Multi Account, with your main login on the web. For more than 10 accounts, email hey@instantdm.com. Without a multi-account plan, each account needs its own plan.

Prices are from the InstantDM pricing page. INR prices are charged through Razorpay, USD through Stripe.

Steps

  1. Log in with your main account (switch to it in Switch Account if needed).
  2. Click My Plan in the sidebar. The “Choose Your Plan” window opens.
  3. Click Multi Account.
  4. Under Payment Gateway, choose Stripe (USD) or Razorpay (INR).
  5. On Multi Starter or Multi Pro, click Buy Yearly or Buy Monthly (the button shows the price).
  6. Finish the payment on the Stripe or Razorpay page.
    • You’ll see the plan on your main account once the payment is confirmed. It is then applied to your connected client accounts, up to the plan’s account limit.

On the phone app

The app can’t sell multi-account plans. Use the web app at app.instantdm.com for this.

Good to know

  • The plan is applied to your connected client accounts in the order they appear, up to the limit. Connect your client accounts first, then buy.
  • A client account you create later, while your main account is on a multi-account plan, gets the same plan.
  • Without a multi-account plan, each account has its own plan and credits. Switch to an account and buy a single-account plan for it from My Plan. See What InstantDM plan should I choose?
  • More than 10 accounts: email hey@instantdm.com before you buy.
  • Team members are a separate topic. See How do I invite a team member?

What you can’t do

  • Cover more than 10 accounts with one plan from My Plan.
  • Buy a multi-account plan in the iPhone or Android app.
  • See all accounts in one dashboard. Insights shows one account at a time.

If it doesn’t work

  • “Account limit reached” in the account switcher: you have used all the accounts your plan covers. Move up to Multi Pro, or email hey@instantdm.com if you need more than 10.
  • A client account still shows Free after you paid: check that it is connected and inside the plan’s limit, then reload the page. If it still shows Free, email hey@instantdm.com.
  • The payment failed: try the other gateway (Stripe or Razorpay) or another card. Multi-account plans can’t be bought in the phone app, so ignore the app store option in the “Having trouble paying?” window. See How do I upgrade or change my plan?

Questions people also ask

I manage more than 10 accounts. What should I buy?

Email hey@instantdm.com with the number of accounts you manage, and the team will tell you the best option.

Does the multi-account plan cover my main account?

Yes. The account count includes your main account. Multi Starter is your main account plus 2 client accounts; Multi Pro is your main account plus 9.

Can I buy a multi-account plan in the phone app?

No. The app sells only single-account plans. Buy Multi Starter or Multi Pro on the web from My Plan, Multi Account.

Is 30,000 per account per month a hard limit?

It is the number of automated DMs each account can send per month on Multi Starter. Multi Pro allows 300,000. Each DM Instagram or Facebook accepts uses one.
