Short answer

In the new menu, Instagram DM and Facebook DM are now Quick Automation, with an Instagram tab and a Facebook tab. Flows have their own menu item, Flow Automation. API & MCP is a button at the top right of Home. Team is in Account Settings, on the Team tab. New automations start from the New Automation button on Home.

InstantDM’s web app has a new left menu. The first time you log in after the change, a “What’s changed” slideshow explains it once. This page is the same map in one table.

What’s new

  • New Automation on Home walks you through three questions: When (Comment to DM, Story to DM, DM Automation), Where (which posts, stories or inbox) and What (Send Link & PDF, Lead Gen or Flow Automation). See How do I set up my first automation?
  • The Home box “New automation” (“Pick when it should run”) has the same three cards plus Instagram Scheduling, which opens Later.
  • Quick Automation has icon tabs. Hover a tab to see its name: Group Automation, Instagram, Facebook, Saved Libraries, DM Insights.
  • Inside the Instagram tab the categories are Posts, Collabs, Stories, Live, Meta Ads and Next Post Automation. The Facebook tab has no Collabs, Stories or Live.
  • Tour at the top right of Home replays a 6-step tour.

On the phone app

The phone app has its own layout and doesn’t use this menu. It has Home → Instagram, Facebook, Flows, Later and the rest. See What can I do in the InstantDM phone app?

Good to know

  • Nothing was deleted. Your automations, flows, contacts and settings are all still there.
  • The Settings popup (from Account Settings) now has a Team tab next to Safety & Limits, Automation, AI Configuration, Account and Integrations.
  • A settings card for Facebook Messenger says it “Runs automatically when you open Facebook DM”. There is no Facebook DM page in the new menu. If Messenger replies don’t work, click Verify & activate on that card in Account Settings → Safety & Limits.

If it doesn’t work

  • You still see Instagram DM in your menu: your account is on the previous layout. The guides marked for the new menu will match once the update reaches you.
  • You can’t find a setting: most settings are in Account Settings. The whitelist and the on/off switches are on the Automation tab. Hourly limits and connections are on Safety & Limits.
